He grew up playing youth hockey in California and later won "Freshman of the Year" honors in 1993 at San Diego State University, while also serving as the clubs Vice President. He has a B.A. Degree in Television and Film Production and is currently an editor and cameraman at USC's Distance Education Network, playing a key role in every aspect of production. Born in Bronx, NY, Joseph (23) began to delve into the world of filmmaking at the early age of 10, when his father, actor Vincent Jerosa, entrusted him with the family video camera. It was then that Joseph became familiar with the inner workings of motion picture and television production as he created his own home movies using friends and family as his cast and crew. He then took his East Coast film experience and headed west to the University of Southern California, where he earned his BA degree in the School of Cinema/Television and shot 10 short films. During his enrollment, Joseph worked for USC's Distance Education Network starting as a camera operator and climbed the ranks up to the head of media operations. In his sophomore year, he took an internship with Jan de Bont's company, Blue Tulip Productions, as they were in production of 20th Century Fox's motion picture, "The Haunting." In 2000, Joseph directed and starred in a three-time award winning comedy short film called, "Star Wars: Legacy of the Jedi" which won Best Comedy on Ifilm.com and was featured in "Premiere" magazine's October 2001 issue.
